Tennessee DOT Breaks Ground on Improvement Project | Transportation Today
Officials from the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) and other state, federal, and local officials in Tennessee broke ground on a $$93 million road improvement project on Friday. The 3.4-mile project will add grading, drainage, signals, paving, and new bridges and retaining walls along a stretch of road on SR-317 in Collegedale near the Collegedale Municipal Airport. Wright Brothers Construction Co., Inc. of Charleston, Tenn., will be the contractor for the project that is expected to be complete by June 30, 2025.

Senators Want Road Spending Bill in Relief Package | ASCE SmartBrief
Sens. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., and Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., are calling for a surface transportation bill to be included in a coronavirus response package. Barrasso's bill calls for $287 billion in spending on roads and bridges over five years. Full Story: Roll Call
