US Chamber Calls for Exemptions for "Essential Infrastructure" | ASCE SmartBriefThe US Chamber of Commerce has requested the federal government recommend exemptions to allows individuals to leave their residence to help operate and maintain "essential infrastructure." The exemptions would apply to public works, airports, water systems, gas, electrical systems, nuclear systems, oil refining, roads and highways, public transportation, solid waste collection and removal, internet, and telecommunications systems.
