USDOT Awards Nearly $1B for Infrastructure Investment Projects | Transportation Today

The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) will fund 20 projects in 20 states totaling nearly $1 billion through its Infrastructure for Rebuilding America (INFRA) discretionary grant program.... $11.2 million to the Tennessee Department of Transportation to install 143 miles of fiber optic communication between Memphis and Nashville.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation will use an $11.2 million Infrastructure for Rebuilding America grant from to install a fiber optic intelligent transportation system along the Interstate 40 corridor between Memphis and Nashville.
