A comprehensive infrastructure bill has broad support in Congress and is one of the few substantive measures that should gain House approval amid the impeachment inquiry, says Rep. Chris Pappas, D-N.H. Pappas, a member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, says the panel is aiming for an "all-encompassing" bill that includes a more equitable highway funding formula, clean public water infrastructure and improvements for ports, railroads and airports.

Continuous-Flow Intersection Introduced in N.C. | ASCE SmartBrief
Continuous-flow intersections, which are designed to reduce traffic congestion and limit construction costs, were invented in Mexico but have since been introduced in several US states. North Carolina's new intersection at N.C. 16 and Mount Holly-Huntersville Road in west Charlotte directs left-turning vehicles to separate lanes several hundred feet before the intersection.
